Six Games Set to Air on ESPN Linear Networks During 2022 Season

PRINCETON, N.J. – As part of its long-term partnership with ESPN, the Ivy League has announced its six-game football package set to air on ESPN linear networks this upcoming season.
 
The full schedule includes: 
Friday, Sept. 30 – Penn at Dartmouth – 7 p.m. ET (ESPNU)
Friday, Oct. 7 – Harvard at Cornell – 7 p.m. ET (ESPNU)
Friday, Oct. 14 – Brown at Princeton – 7 p.m. ET (ESPNU)
Friday, Oct. 21 – Princeton at Harvard – 7 p.m. ET (ESPNU)
Friday, Oct. 28 – Yale at Columbia – 6:30 p.m. ET (ESPNU)
Saturday, Nov. 19 – Yale at Harvard – Time and Network TBD

This is the 14th consecutive year that the league will feature a national football television package. For the fourth-straight year, each program will make at least one appearance in the schedule. The slate consists of five consecutive Friday night games on ESPNU before the 138th playing of The Game takes place on Saturday, Nov. 19. 
 
The schedule for one of the premier linear football packages in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) begins on Friday, Sept. 30 with Penn visiting reigning Ivy League co-champion Dartmouth at 7 p.m. ET. The following week Harvard and Cornell clash in Ithaca, N.Y., at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 7.
 
Brown and 2021 Ivy League co-champion Princeton square off at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 14 in Princeton, N.J., in the first of two consecutive appearances for the Tigers. The following week Princeton and Harvard will square off in Cambridge, Mass., at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 21.
 
Yale and Columbia wrap up the five-week stretch with a 6:30 p.m. ET kickoff on Friday, Oct. 28 in New York.
 
All other Ivy League home football games outside of this six-game package will air on ESPN+, while select games will also be available through a variety of regional sports networks.  

The schedule is one of several parts to the league’s comprehensive agreement with ESPN that was launched in 2018. The partnership airs over 1,400 events annually on ESPN+ and includes at least 24 events on ESPN linear networks.

Last season, five teams were either ranked or received votes in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 national poll at one point of the season.
 
An Ivy League football player hoisted the Lombardi Trophy for the fourth consecutive season, with Brown’s Michael Hoecht and Los Angeles Rams topping Cincinnati in Super Bowl LVI. Ivy League football has now produced 14 Super Bowl champions since 2008.

The 2022 Ivy League football season kicks off Friday, Sept. 16.
